Definitely an outstanding job on Verizon’s part in selling over 1 million units of the Storm 9530 between November 21 2008 to the end of January this month.  It exemplifies how the marketing done for this device was credible and essential to get people’s interests into it.  Sure there is a lot of disappointments with the operating system it came with, and even the update after.  With all the OS “leaks” we should be thankful and able to get out Storms almost out of its buggy stages.  In addition, offering this device at only $199.99, beating the bold and matching the iPhone price was a big factor as well.  Verizon did it well with this BlackBerry and coped with its problems brought to the table.
