The BlackBerry Storm was in production for over 2 years, with over $100 million in marketing campaigns. The early bird customers could complain about bug issues and dislikes towards the device right now, but many people using latest technology devices experience technical difficulties any way. The device’s main purpose was supposed to be a big response to the Apple iPhone, which did not work out as planned, but definitely made BlackBerry fans crazed and excited for this new revolutionary touch screen device. As we already saw an OS update out in December ’08, we still await for more to clear up some remaining bugs that won’t go away just yet. Hang in there guys, it is coming!

This is a pretty big deal seeing multiple BlackBerrys having these new OS updates leaked over the internet. OS 4.5 was impossible to get in its date. Even if you knew someone who had it as a beta tester, they were oh so very strict about letting you have it. They would tell you things like “I’m not allowed to send it you as a beta tester, I could get in serious trouble.” Seeing all these leaks now is just a slap on the face to all those beta testers who took their “positions” too seriously.
Well here it is, OS 4.6.1.133. Download it here via MegaUpload. Catch while it stays available folks. Enjoy.

The world is very diverse and there are too many levels of skill and knowledge spread out throughout the whole world. This was released back a few months ago, but I strongly felt it wasn’t appreciated as much as it should of been. This is a very clear and easy strategy guide for the famous addictive BrickBreaker game available on every BlackBerry out there. It isn’t even an addiction to be ashamed of.

The author of this strategy guide actually even admits to spending “extra time in the bathrooms, restrooms, airport lounges, subways, buses, cars, parks, bed, cubes figuring out a way to live for another level.” It is clearly not only you dear readers. Have no worries.

Indeed a great job done here by TechBays … and yes, all levels are available for walk-thru in this intense strategy guide. Check it out here and enjoy achieving high BrickBreakin’ scores!

This morning, the Boy Genius Report blogged about the AT&T POS system being down today in the east coast. We have confirmed that information here at PocketBerry and it was indeed for a few hours til about 2PM today. The issues and technical difficulties are not being released, not even to the employees or sales reps.
Who remembers the last time the POS system was down or “not working properly?” The release of the iPhone caused a lot of lag, and crashing of the point of sale system for activations if you all recall. Of course there are no big phone releases today with AT&T so it is two separate problems. Bad luck or just a weak POS system, what can we do?
Well now it is back up, says our tips @ AT&T but running very slow and sluggish. Basically, today is not the day to do any type of billing, account changes, activations, or anything of that nature at AT&T today. Treat it like an art museum folks and just look around at the phones with amusement

RIM is missing out big time on the outbidding of Certicom. If they do go ahead and find other means of security, they still miss out on many aspects. For one thing they will not be saving money any more due to licensing fees. Also they will not be able to extend competition in the advantages of security now due to this loss. RIM really faces a tough situation now. What to do? Place a higher bid on Certicom or go elsewhere? Going elsewhere isn’t such an easy route to go as it could be very expensive.
Certicom’s competitors are EMC, Entrust, and Verisign. Verisign buying them out changes the ball game ofcourse.
