Why go through the stress of sitting out in the rain and cold trying to hail for a cab.  We all realize how annoying and competitive hailing taxis can get, especially in bigger cities such as Manhatten, NY.  This application which is designed for the BlackBerry, as well as the iPhone can get you’re cab, and will send it to you based on your GPS coordinates.  The program is called RideCharge, and it is definitely a must have application for those who just get furious trying to get a cab to stop for them.

I love that thing. It's so much more useful for traveling around than a rent-a-car, and the e-receipts are good for tracking spending. Time is money, and this saves you a lot of time. It's also great that bb users got bragging rights over the iphone-guys, since ridecharge was around before the taxi magic port, hehehe :P
