Facebook is currenly finding ways to tie closer with smartphone access and generating new services. One leaked out service they mention was that they wanted to add features such as displaying Facebook profiles pictures when contacts call. There have been some third party softwares that did that, but they really were not that great. Also, phonebook/Facebook sync for all contacts would be something they would want to integrate. Facebook currently has 13 percent of its customers using their phones. The visitors to the site have doubled to over 222 million in December, making it the world’s seventh-most popular website. They are currently in talks with many phone makers and wireless services to see what the next steps will be.
