Earlier this year in January, a new bill was introduced to Congress stating that camera phones will be REQUIRED by law to create a click or any other audible noise when they are being used to take photographs. It is known is the Camera Phone Predator Alert Act, and it will prohibit a camera phone from being equipped with the disabling or silencing of the camera click tone. It falls under the Consumer Product Safety Commission and is being looked at as a safety requirement. Noises would be loud and clear so that anyone in a reasonable distance of the camera phone would be able to hear it. How does you feel about it?
