Why go through the stress of sitting out in the rain and cold trying to hail for a cab. We all realize how annoying and competitive hailing taxis can get, especially in bigger cities such as Manhatten, NY. This application which is designed for the BlackBerry, as well as the iPhone can get you’re cab, and will send it to you based on your GPS coordinates. Southwest Airlines is currently testing in-flight WiFi services with their own in-flight service based on a satellite connection from Row 44. Testing started earlier this week with one of their planes, with other planes coming soon. From the screenshots we saw including this one above, there is no sign of BlackBerrys being tested. There is no reason why the laptop would work over the BlackBerry actually so there should be no worries on that! The service is being offered for free now in its testing mode. How much will it be when it is an officially launched product? Many think it should be free, especially for international flights where tickets are already an arm & leg.
