We posted in January about the BlackBerry Curve getting hooked up with ColorWare, but we’ve seen some nice new designs added on their site for other BlackBerrys. Here are some really cool designs for the BlackBerry Bold. They do a really good job here and give you the option to send your device out or purchase a new one. It’s all worth the money as they do a fantastic clean job here. Did LeBron James send his Bold out to ColorWare to get it “golded out” ? Check out more designs over at the ColorWare website

MySpace is in the process of updating their version of MySpace Mobile right now. Optimization to different screen sizes will be done in the new app and new abilities such as configuring email photos to upload. In order to make the application used worldwide, it’s also getting hooked up with 13 different languages used in 29 countries. Ever since winning the election, President Obama stressed that he would continue using his BlackBerry by all means necessary. But his insistence on keeping it wasn’t just because he wanted to stay in touch with family and friends. Star Magazine confirms that it turns out the President is hooked on playing BrickBreaker. He came out to be a genuine BlackBerry addict afterall.
“He plays to unwind,” a confidante reveals. “Every night before bed, he gives it a few minutes. His high score is around 15,000!”

Do you own a BlackBerry Storm? TalkLock is an essential application for you. I’m not selling you on anything as it is absolutely free! We wrote about this on the release of the program, but I feel not enough people actually indulge in it and appreciate what it does enough. Basically what it does is lock your phone when you are talking on the phone to avoid tragic things from happening such as buttons getting pushed and ending the call accidentally. Check out these key features:
- Automatically runs after installation, and on each reboot
- Automatically activates after phone calls are connected
- Automatically hides when phone calls are completed
- Manual unlock with “slide to unlock” function
- Menu item to re-engage lock after unlock
- Customizeable backround image (uses /home/user/TalkLock-Background.png if it exists under Device Memory)

Glynn County schools superintendent Michael Bull has been fired for allegedly accessing an adult pornography Web site with a Blackberry issued by the Board of Education.
Board chairman Millard Allen said the 5-0 vote on Friday to fire Bull followed an automatic detection of the access by the 12,500-student school system’s information technology department.
Allen says Bull told the board he had too much to drink and “did a very foolish thing” Wednesday while on an overnight trip to Savannah.

Another great theme over at Themes4BB. I know we are posting one too many themes, but there are so many great ones out there that definitely need to be shared more to the public and these theme designers really deserve all the props for doing what they do. Anyway, here’s a theme called “Old School” which brings it back to Nintendo, but in the most stylish way you can possibly imagine. Currently, it is supported by the BlackBerry Bold 9000, but I wouldn’t be suprised if they designed for other models as well. Stay tuned..
