There’s enhanced server architecture, more efficient network communications, and TwitPic posting has been enhanced and isn’t buggy when trying to open it. Unfortunately SocialScope is still closed beta and is not available for public download just yet. Don’t know what SocialScope is? It is a social networking program for your Twitter and Facebook account in one platform.

Right off the bat you assume that this is nothing but a piece of plastic that goes over your phone creating a secondary layer but it is far more than that. This film is actually super strong and will not scratch at all. There are many YouTube videos demonstrating key and knife scratching with the Invisible Shield showing no damage at all. Here’s the one for the BlackBerry Storm 9500 and 9530, only $24.95 for the whole phone housing cover.

Earlier this year in January, a new bill was introduced to Congress stating that camera phones will be REQUIRED by law to create a click or any other audible noise when they are being used to take photographs. It is known is the Camera Phone Predator Alert Act, and it will prohibit a camera phone from being equipped with the disabling or silencing of the camera click tone. It falls under the Consumer Product Safety Commission and is being looked at as a safety requirement. Noises would be loud and clear so that anyone in a reasonable distance of the camera phone would be able to hear it. How does you feel about it?

Don’t you hate the fact that the power button puts your phone to “sleep” only? It gets annoying taking your backcover off and pulling your battery out everytime you want to do a hard reset. This application allows you to do a virtual battery pull where it will actually reset your whole phone at the press of a button. Amazing if you ask me. Many have inquired about this program, unaware of what it’s called so here it is dear readers. Enjoy!

Very handy software available in the BerryStore (http://m.berrystore.com). It does exactly what it’s called. Call Reminder will literally remind you to call someone back. When receiving a missed call, it prompts you to schedule a call back time or to never call back at all. As I said before, it is a very handy software and it will cost you…NOTHING. Absolutely freeware. Head over to BerryStore (http://m.berrystore.com) from your phone and download it. It is currently listed in “Top Apps.” Enjoy!

From the BlackBerry Bold perspective, we see quite a few changes. First off, the icon isn’t all pixelated any more and actually fits in quite nice! Other than that we see web page rendering a lot faster, and more accurate. For instance, if you went to a grand site such a PocketBerry.com, there were certain sidebars and articles that didn’t seem alligned properly. That all has been fixed. In addition we see YouTube starting to work. It attempts to play in an embedded media player, but fails, then prompts you to use your BlackBerry media player. After doing so, it seems as though the YouTube video physically downloads on your phone memory. Legal or not, it’s really cool and definitely handy for everyone to download. If you have a BlackBerry, its a nice experience for full web page experience. If you have a normal flip phone, this is a hefty upgrade you’d be silly to miss out on.
If you don’t have Bolt Browser yet, tune your phones or computers to http://boltbrowser.com and download it today. It is an open beta now.
