Qtel today launched the BlackBerry Curve 8900, bringing exceptional capability in a stylish, compact design to business and consumer users in Qatar.  It was only in January that Qtel started providing the BlackBerry Internet Service.  Now with nothing to stop them, they are coming out with the newest latest device at full speed in order to catch up with the rest of the world’s BlackBerry market.

Eng. Khalid Abdulla Al Mansouri, Executive Director, Business Solutions, Qtel, said “Qtel is actively increasing the range of high-end mobile devices available for people across Qatar. We believe that this new model – the thinnest and lightest full-QWERTY BlackBerry Smartphone on the market – will prove enormously popular because of its functionality and design quality.”
