BlackBerry 9900: QWERTY Touchscreen Device with NO TrackBall
by The PocketBerry Team
The 9900 details and images have been revealed, and I am not as psyched as many are right now. Don’t get me wrong, it is a very attractive looking device, and I was looking forward to a touchscreen version of the Bold since it released. The device not having the trackball is the biggest let down in my opinion. But who remembers the end of the side wheel on BlackBerry? It was missed for a little, but in a matter of time, everyone loved the trackball. Maybe this is just evolution and that is the steps it takes to become the most solid device out there.
The 9900, formerly known as the code name “Pluto” comes equipped with its fast processor and 3G support of course. Rogers will be getting it around Q3, but I wouldn’t expect seeing it any early than Q4 given all the delays we have seen in the past.
