Since late December (December 31st ‘08 to be exact) we were all able to download the beta version of SlingPlayer for BlackBerry.  Over the past few months, the 30 day trial would reset itself every 30 days which was great.  Those days have come to an end and we must purchase it to use it now at this point.  It is a one time fee of $29.99 which is all worth it for what the software does for you.

So what’s SlingPlayer?

Whether its watching your TV anywhere or watching just about anything on your TV, Sling’s products are all about bringing new and digital media experiences.  Imagine having access to your home television cable channels right on your BlackBerry giving you the freedom of changing channels while the TV at home can remain on any channel or switched to whatever that viewer wants there.  It is all possible with SlingPlayer for BlackBerry
