Official Skype to launch for BlackBerry in May
by The PocketBerry TeamIt looks like Skype will finally be releasing its official version for the famous BlackBerry device we all own. The iPhone of course gets it before us which is fine given that it’ll run as a beta for them most likely. I’d rather wait and have a working solid Skype app.
The Skype app will be free of use on all BlackBerrys. If you’re Skype calling from your phone to any other Skype account whether it be PC or mobile, it is completely free. Many people in the US are starting to get into the Skype spirit, but putting this app on the BlackBerry (even the iPhone) will increase the amount of reliance and usage of the great program. Video chatting is still up in the air, but I won’t get too excited for it until we see or hear something official.
