Google Voice started out as being Grand Central at first.  When Google Voice took over, we saw fascinating capabilities such as texting other cell phones and being able to reply back from your phone (using your Google # of course).  Now GV Dialer gives you the full interface of using your Google Voice # from your BlackBerry.  You can set it to call from either your personal # or your GV #.  Pretty cool right?

We’ve gotten many requests for BlackBerry Pearl Flip 82xx themes so here is one I thought would be of a good start: BabyPhat!  Maybe not so unisex but the theme does look good and has nice icons.  As for men, change the background image to whatever you want!  Stay tuned for more themes.

We all heard recently about Don Lindsay joining the BlackBerry team, being responsible for RIM’s user experience design unit.  So who is Don Lindsay you ask?  He is actually originally from Apple.  Infact, he pulled together the team that is responsible for the original look and feel for the OS X Aqua interface.

So what’s RIM cooking now?  With U2 being exclusively sponsored along with Lindsay giving his helping hand in the company, we should expect to see expansion on a larger scale as well as better BlackBerry devices for the user friendly people.

It’s been a really exciting morning as we all of us Bold users here at PocketBerry decided to download OS 5.0!

There’s been some coverage on other blogs as to some small bells and whistles added to the OS but nothing really major.  That is pretty much true, although the new BlackBerry Messenger looks really good and we do have a new added application called Files.  (more…)
