Twilight themes popping left and right! We provided you with the Bold version and the Storm version earlier, and now we present you the Twilight theme for the 88xx and 83xx series! The icons are different from the other models’ versions but it still rocks. The home screen background is better on this one than any other in my opinion. Special thanks to for this great theme.

You can now download the famous application Dexrex right from your BlackBerry App World. We covered all about the application in early February and its great attributes. If you want to read more about it, you can click here to read our review in earlier February.
Anyway, we saw Dexrex appear in the unofficial BerryStore, which was basically an application store for BlackBerry, but unofficial and not by RIM. There wasn’t too many downloads on it, but Dexrex sure was. To download Dexrex, simply tune into your BlackBerry App World and download it from there.

So what’s AirStrip? AirStrip OB basically allows physicians to access information from a hospital’s labor and delivery unit with a mobile handheld device. San Antonio-based AirStrip is also beta testing similar applications that can be used for monitoring critical care and cardiology patients. The company plans for later this year are to seek FDA clearance for those software applications.

Windows Live Search (WLS) is a nice little program that’ll do just about everything for you. The only thing is that it came out too late after so many apps were already created which have the same exact functions. Anyway, maybe you are one who prefers a different layout and this application definitely does.

Yes, it’s been out for quite some time, but many don’t know about it and its convenience. Google Quick Search does exactly what its title tells you. It’s a small applet that emulates the Google home page with the search bar. Instantly open up the app, type your search, and then your browser will automatically open with your search results. Neat right?

Verizon has given RIM the green light to go ahead and proceed with the new Storm, but this time including WiFi. Many of us still don’t beleive it as none of the previous Verizon BlackBerrys had WiFi ever. So there’s not much release details yet, but do expect the device to release sometime in September ’09.

Here’s an interesting application we would all love! TXT’N'WALK basically allows the corner of your screen to be dedicated on the live camera view and the rest be your text, email message, or browser. You can look ahead while focusing on your phone. Pretty interesting, sounds more funny that it could be practical in my opinion. The application will be available by the end of this week for $4.99. Worth it to you?

Everyday, we see major companies creating mobile sites and even mobile applications triggered for the BlackBerry specifically. Today, IQMax announces that its entire suite of healthcare solutions is available on BlackBerry devices including the Storm. With IQMax, physicians can dictate and document patient encounters, capture billable charges, and view patient information including lab results, alerts, allergies, medications, and pathology and radiology reports, at the point of care. IQMax provides physicians a continuity of care record for their patients across diverse care environments, whether they see patients at the hospital, clinic, or in a home healthcare environment. Now physicians can use the same device that they use to view email, manage their calendar and contacts, and access the internet, to stay connected to patient and clinical data anytime, anywhere, and anyplace.
