Hello everyone! One of my favorite apps was updated today, Qik! Qik is one of those apps i think everyone needs and not enough people have. Its one of those apps that come in handy all the time. Qik basically lets you make an online account through there service, download the app, and stream live video to your personal profile. Being exclusive to Verizon Wireless when released in the US, this hybrid Berry is releasing in the “next few months” says a reporter over and CNBC.  What does this mean?  It’s going to clearly be the best of both worlds.  We will be seeing BlackBerry device with both QWERTY and touch screen functions.  What happens to the Palm Pre?  Forget the head to head battle between Apple and BlackBerry, this goes way further.  The Palm Pre will be  squashed by this new BlackBerry hybrid device.  Stay tuned for further news on the new device.

Many people were recieving a few problems when they went to download App World for the first time. I guess a couple of people were getting a message when trying to load the App World download page stating this, “Sorry, your device does not meet system requirements that are needed to support BlackBerry App Would.” After waiting months for App World i couldn’t begin to imagine the frustration some people may have had. Luckily, RIM acknowledged the problem quickly and updated App World. As you find more bugs be sure to let RIM know!
