snapmylife

instantly-share-and-view-photos-on-your-mobile-phone

SnapMyLife is finally supported for BlackBerry smartphones!  It allows Berry users to instantly snap pictures and share them with anyone including friends and family everywhere.  It integrates with the BlackBerry camera so it’s made easy to upload the pictures as the press of a button, pretty similar to the Facebook app methods.  You can tag photos, add titles, and even change privacy settings for each one (pretty damn similiar to the Facebook app huh).

Snap2Twitter app is designed for Berry users who want to use their devices to post pictures on to their Twitter accounts.  Traditionally through any other program, you’d have to take the picture then upload it through SocialScope or Yatca.  Those days are long gone with Snap2Twitter as it links directly to the camera interface, and right away updates the user’s Twitter feed with the tweet and a link to the photo.  Pretty awesome huh?

Go to snapmylife.com to join and read up more on the cool services provided!

telusstorm-shot

It’s still exciting knowing it’s official and not a leak, but still not a Verizon build.  For all you who were scared updating before with the leaks, you may feel a lot more comfortable now doing so as 4.7.0.122 has been officially released for Telus.  We’ve tested the .122 build already and are very satisfied with the overall performance on the Storm now (especially after its out of box .65) but feel there’s still more room for further improvements.

RHex is just like Tetris, only very different if that makes any sense.  Any way the game is very addictive and fun to play.  The puzzle drops down like it would in Tetris, but you have to fix the puzzle before it comes down.  Sounds complicated and that’s why we provided you with a little video above to show you how it goes down with RHex.

Download RHex v1.0.3 for the BlackBerry Storm (Installation by BlackBerry Desktop Manager).

ftp-for-blackberry

Do you do a lot of FTP work?  How awesome would it be to have an FTP client right on your BlackBerry?  Pretty cool especially if you need to upload files from your phone to your FTP.  BeFTP is an FTP client for BlackBerry that’s absolutely free!

Feel free to upload any files you want to your server, download any file or folders from the FTP to your phone, and even have manual FTP command lines.  It works really well with WiFi, especially if you are downloading some big files.

Would you like to face the horrid truth about your BlackBerry addiction?  I Love My BlackBerry tells you how long you spend every day on your device.  It will tell you by the day, week, month, etc.  It’s a very sad truth, and the numbers seem to be unbeleivable but it is REAL.  Try it out yourselves and let us know what you think.  I think we all need to have some rehabilitation if you ask me.

Karoline Hanna, age 22 from Central Jersey grew a liking to BlackBerrys as she picked up her first ever, the BlackBerry Storm.  Upon searching for websites that fulfilled her needs she said “PocketBerry seemed the only consistent BlackBerry site without all the constant promotion after promotion to sell me products for the device.”  She currently has the PocketBerry Launcher installed on her Storm 9530, making it easy day in and day out to get what’s new in the BlackBerry world including her own device.  We got to meet her today at a local Starbucks as she suprised us with the initials “PB” on her nails just to show a thank you recognition for providing all the support she needed for her device.

So how did it all start?

Karoline was frustrated with her stock .75 OS and needed to upgrade as soon as possible.  She inquired our staff in a nice email seeking help as to how the OS can be installed.  One of our members, Haithum Salem quickly went in email to assist her.  From then on, she was very satisfied with the service she received.  ”I emailed [various sites] and did not receive any support what so ever,” said Karoline.

So to get back to the photo, we had to see the suprise she had for us, and so we had our photographer Ahmed Moniem take some quick snaps with his BlackBerry Storm as we weren’t ready or prepared for what the suprise would be!  Special thanks to Karoline for tagging your nails with PB and being a genuine PocketBerry fan!

social_networking_header3

Everyone has their top 5 pick.  Sometimes they have them in order on the first row zen theme, sometimes a folder, other times even scattered.  This is what we all individually like at PocketBerry.

My favorite applications are Viigo, SocialScope, vPost, BlackBerry Messenger, & Instango.

Otoniel prefers BrickBreaker, Gtalk, iHeart Radio, OANDA FxConverter, & Pandora.  He sets soundtracks for his life movements everywhere he goes (walking to grocery store, etc.)

Kal, without hesitation chooses Viigo, BBTran, BlackBerry Messenger, SlingPlayer, and MemoPad.  He reads what’s going when it’s going on right on the spot.

Cory’s quick pick is Viigo, BlackBerry Messenger, e-Mobile Contacts, vPost, and Facebook.  He stays being a multitasking social networking guru.

Haithum took the longest deciding as his first response appeared to be “all of the above.”  After using the process of elimination, Haithum came up with WeatherEye, BlackBerry Wallet, Opera, Spider Solitaire, and LiveStrong Calorie Tracker.

Ahmed puts BrickBreaker number 1 due to the fact that he spends about three hours every day playing it in small intervals here and there.  Next for Ahmed comes PodTrapper, Google Sync, Tank Ace 1944 Lite, and BlackBerry Messenger.

Ehab enjoys Viigo, Wall Street Journal, Uber (Twitter app), BlackBerry Messenger, and Haithum’s phone number.

Steve is just loves Slacker Radio, Opera Mni, Facebook, AIM, and TwitterBerry.  He is counting the days til the official Skype app comes out.

What are your 5 favorite BlackBerry applications?  Drop us a line!  We’d love to know!

WOW!  Look at the great shots used for this theme.  Street Fighter has been a huge part of video gaming in North America, Europe, and soon enough all over the world.  One of the most popular trendy games in the world is now a BlackBerry theme for your Bold 9000!  It’s absolutely free and the background images are the best that could ever be picked.  Icons are still “boldified” as it really doesn’t get better than that.  Special thanks to MP3ent.20 for building this theme!
