BlackBerry Tip: SureType Shortcut Keys
by The PocketBerry Team

The SureType keyboard does not only ensure that you can type at ease with a faster rate, but also makes using your BlackBerry a lot easier. When typing a message or trying to scroll through one, it gets annoying scrolling with the trackball and using all the menus to input different commands you want to input. The one thing I hate seeing is Pearl users who just aren’t educated on all the simplified shortcut keys they have been given access to by owning the device. Here are some quick and easy maneuvers you can manage to get the hang of with your SureType keybord on your BlackBerry (with SureType technology) :
1 – Move to the top of the open message, or the top of the message list (newest message)
7 – Move to the bottom of the open message, or bottom of the message list (oldest message)
3 – Move one screen up in the open message / message list
9 – Move one screen down in the open message / message list
4 – Open the previous message
6 – Open the next message

When in an actual message, you are capable of doing the following:
! – Reply to the current message
? – Reply to all to the current message
. – Forward the current message
, - Compose a new message
If you haven’t used these shortcuts before, you will find your Berryin’ to be a lot easier and casual. Forget having to open the menu for every single action you do in the message screen of your BlackBerry. Enjoy the tips!
