Skype for BlackBerry Storm leaked!

If your interested in trying the all new Skype app for BlackBerry, today is your lucky day.  There is a leaked version over at MegaUpload for you to try.  It is still in beta, but give it a shot and see how the platform looks.  This is only for the BlackBerry Storm, sorry to everyone else rockin’ non touch screen devices.

One more apology for the download not being an OTA file.  Sorry folks! I know desktop downloads seem so old fashioned but they are still around!  Click below to download the fill zip file.

    did anyone else have a problem getting this to work on the BB storm? It asks me what language but when I try to select it, I get nothing.

    got it to setup on my BB curve 8320 with wifi
    all seem to be going good untill it told me that cant connect over my network.
    ( i don to subscribe to carriers network i use only WIFI)
    so no go for me
    PS for the guy in the post before me to select use buttons “q” “p” and “space”

    i have download this version but this is not working on blackberry storm…no touch screen work with this software…

    i manage to make it until the user and password window, but cant figure how to get to change from user to password, there is no touchscreen option. you can pass the language window by pressing q or p but if someone with storm can make it all the way please let me know how!!!

    yeah this is pretty much obsolete until they release an official beta. this wait is ridiculous as its been just about a year now.

    It worked fine on my BB 9530 (unblocked in Mexico City) following th tips mentioned of pressing “p” “q” and space.

    How ever it asked me if I wanted to download a updated version and screwed everything. So do not let the upgrade download and you´ll be fine. good luck to you all!

    I have an unlocked STORM from Verizon that I’m trying to use with my T-Mobile. I was able to download SKYPE, but it says I need VERIZON to use the service. Anyone know of a go-around? It’s EDGE/3G anyway, so not sure why it’s doing that.
