Well from what the picture shows, we atleast know that it will have the new sensor pad instead of the traditional trackball that all these other devices are equipped with today.  Being a CDMA device, we expect to see it hit Verizon Wireless, but I’m sure the Canadian providers will get to it first (obviously).  So here’s the first look at the device brought to you by CrackBerry.  Enjoy folks!

The BlackBerry Onyx, which has been getting leaked screenshots for quite sometime through unknown sources as well as a pre full review by the folks over at CrackBerry is being rumored to be released for AT&T.  Folks who were waiting for the Curve 8900 might as well wait for further details of the Onyx in my opinion.  If 3G doesn’t phase you then it shouldn’t matter much.  As we all know by now, the Onyx is basically a smaller and improved version of the BlackBerry Bold 9000, which was designed so early, yet released so late.  Hopefully no problems with this one and no delays please AT&T!

Here are also some other screenshots of promos for the Gemini, Pearl 3G, and Magnum.  They are still rough sketched pictures but the specs are accurate.  Enjoy!

The folks over at CrackBerry have been able to get their hands on the BlackBerry Onyx we kept hearing about in the past and saw some leaked images of that RIM wasn’t too thrilled about.  We came across the new and improved Curve 8900 which provided WiFi with no 3G.  Forget having just one, as it has both 3G and WiFi in it.  With its small Curve size, it seems very impressive.  As it appears to be the same thickness as the BlackBerry Curve 8900, RIM has went ahead and made it quite thinner especially on the side edges.  The gunmetal back and sides give the phone a nicer feel and look than the cheap chrom the Curve 8900 and Bold 9000 got.

Here are the main specs on the device:

• 3G device – GSM/GPRS/EDGE/UMTS (Bands: 850, 900, 1800, 1900)
• 480 by 360 display, beveled edges
• 256 megabytes of internal memory (same as Curve 8900, 8520)
• 1550mAh M-S1 battery (same as Bold)
• 3.2 megapixel camera, with flash and auto focus
• Processor: Not 100% sure actually, but am hearing its a Tavor processor that may be running even a bit quicker than the Bold’s 624MHz processor (definitely seems snappy)
• GPS, WiFi (UMA capable but we’ll see what happens there), and all the normal stuff you’d expect on a BlackBerry smartphone
