Verizon launches BlackBerry Pearl Flip 8230

As of June 19, the whole nation will be able to purchase the BlackBerry Pearl Flip 8230 via Verizon.  We expected it to come out right after it did for Alltel Wireless, then we saw images of the BlackBerry Pearl Flip 8230 via Verizon leak on a comparison chart.  In the official press release, it said:

Verizon Wireless and Research In Motion (RIM) (NASDAQ:RIMM)(TSX:RIM) announced today the BlackBerry(R) Pearl(TM) Flip 8230 smartphone will be available on the nation’s largest 3G broadband network beginning June 19. The BlackBerry Pearl Flip 8230 features the industry’s leading mobile e-mail and messaging solution combined with rich multimedia capabilities and the high-speed connectivity of Verizon Wireless’ broadband network in a popular flip design….”

So it’s official now, and there will no longer be a wait for the Pearl Flip 8230 now!  Next up, the BlackBerry Storm 2 and Tour 9630..
