We made it through to Washington DC successfully with still a quarter tank left on the V8 426hp Camaro SS and one battery bar left on the BlackBerry Bold 9000 after using TeleNav to get all the way here.  A cool feature the car comes with is Bluetooth Audio Connect which enables you to use your smartphone (BlackBerry in this case) and stream audio to the car’s speakers wirelessly.  As you can see we connected it to our BlackBerry Bold 9000 named “PocketBerry.com.”

It is as simple as equipping hands free Bluetooth to the car.  All you do is search and add the device and type in the generic code the car gives you.  Quality is incredible and you really don’t have to adjust the volume from the actual device.  Got Bluetooth in your car?  Check and see if it supports Bluetooth Audio Stream as well.  Stay tuned for more updates on our egmCarTech & PocketBerry adventure today.

    Hi
One question. I have been able to use it as sound streaming but i cannot use it to answer calls or anything like that. Do you know why?
    thanks

there are two separate bluetooth setups for using it in car. In any car with the features, you must setup a bluetooth connection for Bluetooth Audio Stream and a separate one for the Bluetooth hands-free mode. i hope that answers your question :)
