BerryBuzz v2.0 Review for BlackBerry
by The PocketBerry Team
In testing out BerryBuzz 2.0, my first impression was remarkable as the application did everything it promised. They took an application that was useful and now made it a bit more fun and entertaining for every type of BlackBerry user. The most significant change is that they finally got it to work with BlackBerry Messenger and the very famous Facebook application. I’ve been able to beta test every application that Bellshare has opened except Instango and this is a wonderful company to work with. They have created a forum for their products and everyone is welcome to join.

While the original application was great for the BlackBerry user to prioritize their messages and emails with color LED, this new upgrade has by far added to application’s worthiness. Those of you using BerryPopup and SmartAlerts will appreciate some of the changes made to integrate the programs better.

The upgrade includes:
- Support for BlackBerry Messenger
- Support for Facebook
- Coverage indicator that can be triggered when Radio/Data is available or when
- Radio/Data is not available
- Custom LED colors
- New color ‘Disco’, will flash all colors in sequence ( My personal
- favorite!! )
- LED color preview indicators to every item
- Option to set LED flash interval
- Scheduling option to mute LED and reminders during specified times of the week
- Support for SmartAlerts, SmartAlerts notifications will override more general
- BerryBuzz notifications
- BerryPopup clearing notifications after preview is being dismissed
If you haven’t already purchased this application, you should try out the 7 day trial at Mobihand and see how you like it. New purchases will include the upgrade in the download. Those of you that have already purchased this application can upgrade it for a small fee. I know, I know.. a fee for an upgrade? I said the same thing but it’s worth it. I didn’t hesitate to pay the instant it was released to the public.
In my opinion this is a great application to add to any BlackBerry regardless of if you use it for business or personal, 5 out of 5 stars across the board. Check it out and let us know what you think.
