We just got an email from Proxpro letting us know about their software Prompt GPS Calendar which is quite a handy one.   Being on time for appointments and having deadlines is something every adult faces one way or another and we can all agree how important things of that nature can be.  That’s why traveling business people have trusted double award winning Prompt, the road warrior’s traffic early warning system, to ensure they arrive on time every time for over 500,000 trips.  Check out the full video above on a demonstration as to how Prompt works with the BlackBerry device.  Below are some specifications about it and stock descriptions.  We have provided a FREE OTA download link below as well so you can give it a shot today.

Experience Prompt’s unprecedented prescience, awareness and control:

  • - Receive precise automatic “Time to leave” countdown alerts based on real-time traffic so you know when to hit the road
  • – See the optimum route with directions to avoid congestion
  • – Instant heads up on new incidents on your next journey
  • – Identify road works and real-time congestion on your route
  • – See traffic on other roads adjacent to your route
  • – Check your daily commute for accidents or construction
  • – One touch voice directions activation (separate subscription required)
  • – Get personalized location-based weather reports

Professionals are calling Prompt one of the most USEFUL BlackBerry applications:

“Prompt is quickly becoming one of the most useful applications that I have installed on my Blackberry Bold. It ties together my two most used applications, the Calendar which syncs with my Outlook calendar for appointment scheduling and the Bold’s GPS functionality which I use regularly to to determine when I will arrive at the locations that I’m heading for. The thing that I find most useful is that I can easily jump from my appointments to the map display that tells me how long I have before I need to leave for the next appointment without being late, along with a recommended route. This is a great feature as far as I’m concerned. Finally someone has come up with an application that is really useful for personal or business users.” P. W. Paton (July 2009)

Prompt's server may be blocked by T-Mobile. I am working with them to get white listed. Proxpro Prompt is an AT&T certified solution. I shall stay in contact until this issue is resolved.
