Many people have been complaining over the weekend in regards to the recent leak of BlackBerry Messenger 5.0. It was very cool for many, still might be, while others are encountering endless problems. Some similar problems have been seen this time around as some of us did in OS update 4.5 beta. It seems as though the problem people are having in sending messages seems to be from the Proximity option which can be located in the settings of BlackBerry Messenger when in the actual application. Many have reported that disabling it will enable your messages to send again. Personally I was experiencing this problem and must say it has resolved the issue up til now so you should all give it a try as well.
If you don’t want to do that, you could always downgrade to your older version via Desktop Manager. You won’t have to reinstall your OS so don’t worry. Connect your device, make sure your OS is installed on the PC, and go to Add/Remove programs. From there it is pretty much self explanatory as you will just be installing BBM 4.x all over again. Let us know which strategies worked for you best!
