BlackBerry Desktop Software for Mac screen shots have been released by RIM through their new official blog. As you can see here, this is where the magic all starts off.  In my opinion that is more attractive then your average BlackBerry Desktop Manager for PC.  In this screen shot, we see that it displays a sexy stock picture of your device with all its specs on the side including your PIN.  Functionality look pretty straight forward and easy to use, as it is a Mac after all.

Here is where you would add or remove applications.  Nothing really new here, but again, it just looks that much better on the Mac platform.

A new memory bar has been added to the whole equation, allowing you to view in graphics what the statistics of your BlackBerry’s memory is.  In this screen shot we see the BlackBerry Tour is updating its software..

macdtm_backup

This is where you would be doing backups of your device.  A list of items to backup appears where you customly check each one, or just select “All data” up top.

Wow, calendar synchronization is awesome.  Select from different calendars to sync or select them all.  Calendar synchronization is a big deal for Mac users as the program ideally used is the iCal app.

macdtm_music

Full support for iTunes to sync to your BlackBerry.  Select specific songs you would like to transfer, specific playlists, or just put it all on there.  A memory bar is also shown here to display the amount of space left.

As we announced yesterday, the BlackBerry Desktop Software for Mac launches in September.  You can sign up to receive email updates as to when it is available as well.

i hope this isnt buggy.. how will it handle .exe files??!?

i can't wait, this is going to be amazing. the .exe is going to be an issue in my opinion unless they release .exe and .dmg extensions for OS updates. we will be missing out on OS leaks which will be primarily on .exe coding, shucks.
