Skyfire puts a hold on all its BlackBerry browsing
by The PocketBerry Team
As we saw yesterday, Skyfire made its quick and beautiful appearance in our lives as it leaked all over the Internet. Within a few hours, Skyfire surely put a stop on all its BlackBerry users. So what’s the main reason or cause for this? It could be as simple as the fact that they saw leaks of their own alpha software all over the Internet, and wanted to prevent everyone from seeing how the program worked.
Co-founder Nitin Bhandari wrote on Skyfire’s blog, “During the time it was leaked, there were many BlackBerry users trying the alpha release on Curves, Storms, and other BlackBerry models–it was not intended for these devices.”
Skyfire has not said when it will reinstate the alpha testing program for its BlackBerry browser. I guess we shouldn’t expect Skyfire anytime soon for that matter as they are punishing us for our “wrongdoings.”
