It looks like Facebook has updated late last night as BerryReview confirms but we did not see the update til this morning.  There’s no keys on this build as to what it has fixed or resolved.

It’s a small update from 1.6.0.17 to 1.6.0.21 so we didn’t expect to see much of anything really occur anyway to begin with.  You can pick it up OTA at this link or just click Update from your Facebook BlackBerry application.

U2, which recently dropped Apple as a sponsor and moved to RIM are having their 360 tour which is being advertised on BlackBerry’s website. Within the website, there has been postings that declared the arrival of the U2 mobile album.

We showed you the video teaser last week which did not show you much.  The application will most likely let you listen to their latest album “No Line on the Horizon,” which will enable BlackBerry users to listen to songs, watch videos, and read pushed news updates on the band.

Imagine going over your friend’s house with your battery low in need for a charger.  Now imagine if you could simply ask “do you have a cell phone charger around,” rather than “do you have a charger for a iClone X300Ci series?”  In Europe, it has become mandatory for all cell phones released to be using the fairly new Micro-USB charger across the board.  It’ll be very interesting to see how Apple copes with the situation as their famous charger/USB adapter is popular among all their other devices such as the iPod.  Many people don’t like the idea of having that, just because they are already stocked up on their brands adapters and do not fancy change for anything.  In the long run, this new regulation will help benefit everyone.  What do you guys think?

Gmail is one of the most popular emails to have these days, especially with the BlackBerry device.  It looks like RIM has gone ahead in development of a plugin for the BlackBerry which will enhance your Gmail experience via mobile.  With the plugin, you will be able to do actions such as filter spam and view conversation lists which is pretty cool.  In addition, you will be able to add and remove labels and stars to emails in the inbox to stay organized just as you could via desktop Gmail.  Archiving emails has never been easier as you can do it with a simple press of a button.

The government of Indonesia has decided to set a deadline for Research In Motion to set up local service outlets for BlackBerry by July 16, or else they would ban the importation of new BlackBerry products.

“We took this decision after we found no progress in the last three meetings between the government, including several representatives from the Directorate General of Post and Telecommunications, and RIM in June,” the directorate general spokesman Gatot S. Dewabroto said in a statement on Sunday.

The government insisted that the after-sales service was very much mandatory under the law, and it is very essential to protect BlackBerry users, which could reach one million by the end of 2009.

We made it through to Washington DC successfully with still a quarter tank left on the V8 426hp Camaro SS and one battery bar left on the BlackBerry Bold 9000 after using TeleNav to get all the way here.  A cool feature the car comes with is Bluetooth Audio Connect which enables you to use your smartphone (BlackBerry in this case) and stream audio to the car’s speakers wirelessly.  As you can see we connected it to our BlackBerry Bold 9000 named “PocketBerry.com.”
