For those unaware, Pinwall is a BlackBerry social networking application right on your BlackBerry.  Traditionally we are used to social networking sites on a computer, but in this case, Pinwall gives you a full user interface from your BlackBerry on their great application.  Just yesterday they updates to version 1.2, fixing a lot of bugs and enhancing its performance. So what’s new?

  • Quick IM filter (press Q in the inbox)
  • Friends list has been optimized
  • Press a letter in any list to go directly to a message
  • Adding new friends to your address book is now optional
  • Search results now show new users first
  • Vibration option has been fixed
  • When opening a conversation you can start chatting immediately
  • Scability! We are caching a lot of things with memcached (thanks @rabble)
  • Ending conversations and deleting contacts is much quicker

To download, go to getpinwall.com from your BlackBerry Browser

Pinwall is 100% NOT Storm friendly. :( Navigation to even join from the Storm is nearly, no, IS impossible.

I'd like to retract what I said. for SOME reason, the application was set to Compatibility Mode and it made it completely inoperable on my Storm. My sincere appologies. =)
