BlackBerry Developer Conference Registration opens its doors

RIM says be there if you are a BlackBerry developer or partner, beginner or master mobile application developer, web developer, .NET developer, Java developer, and business lead in mobile application development.  With that being said, if you are any of the above, you should attend this conference as it is made for people like you!  It is being held in San Francisco, California form November 9-12.  Here’s an interesting promise RIM makes as to “what you’ll take home.”

  • The inside scoop on developing for the BlackBerry platform and the very latest in software, hardware and tools from RIM and its partners
  • Invaluable information directly from RIM experts who will personally share their expertise
  • First-hand experiences from developers who have successfully created, integrated and managed wireless applications
  • Best practices from industry leaders to shortcut development cycles and drive new applications to market

There will also be sample sessions held where it developers and attendees will be able to get a more hands on experience.  Some of the sampled sessions include the following:

  • Optimizing Your Application: Using Background Threads, Improving Battery Life, and Ensuring Proper Memory Management
  • How to use Gears: A Start to Finish Approach to Leveraging Gears in Your Advanced Web Application

The exact session catalog has not been released yet but we will be sure to get our hands on a copy soon enough.  It’s not exactly your cheapest conference, but it is quite obvious that this is for serious developers in making applications for the BlackBerry platform.  With that said, here are the rates below:
