There have been several reports along the east coast, specifically in the Long Island area of BlackBerry Messenger via Verizon Wireless not sending or receiving any messages.  Data connections have been found to be issues as well.  No other carrier but Verizon Wireless seems to be having problems as it pretty much is  East Coast Verizon customers getting affect while the west enjoys the fastest 3G network, allegedly.  The information is not confirmed yet as this has generated from a huge population of people in a designated area.  Dozens of BES actiavted handhelds went down about a half hour ago, displaying “1x” and “1xev” signals.  If you are having outages in your area, please drop a comment and let us know what region you are in.
