We received various emails from people saying that their UberTwitter, TweetGenius, and SocialScope apps weren’t working properly but it has all been narrowed down to be the Twitter service itself malfunctioning.  Users experienced long lagging moments between the hours of 2pm-4pm EST.  After 4pm, the site went completely off, so your BlackBerry tweeting frenzy will temporarily be suspended to further investigation and a proper solution occurs.  A few weeks ago, Twitter encountered a DDOS attack that took days to recover from.  We do not have any word as to why the service is down today but will keep you up to date as the news flows.  If you folks hear any updates in regards to any of the Twitter issues, let us know!
