SingTel offers most affordable BlackBerry Data Plan in town

BlackBerry services were never known as being very affordable for everyone. In India, Singapore Telecommunications Limited annouced that it is going to bring out a really cheap and affordable plan that will draw more consumers’ attention to the device. Being that it is cheap it will not be your average unlimited data plan. The service provider will be offering 1GB of of bundled data for only S$10.70 per month. Singapore – Singapore Telecommunications Limited (SingTel) today announced that it will introduce the lowest entry-level BlackBerry® service plan in the market called BlackBerry® Value. It is ideal for the youth and young working adults who can now email and enjoy instant messaging on the move.
BlackBerry Value comes with 1GB of bundled data and is priced at S$10.70 a month*, making it the most affordable BlackBerry service plan in Singapore.
Customers can connect their BlackBerry smartphones to up to 10 POP3/IMAP email accounts, including popular web-based email services like Yahoo!, Hotmail and Gmail. They can also communicate easily with friends while on the move with BlackBerry Messenger and Instant Messaging (IM) applications such as Windows Live™ Messenger, Yahoo!® Messenger and Google Talk™. The plan also allows customers to download and view attachments, send SMS and MMS, and enjoy WAP access via IDEAS.

Wide range of BlackBerry services to meet different needs
SingTel also provides a wide range of BlackBerry services and smartphones that cater to different customers’ needs, which include the popular BlackBerry® Bold™ and BlackBerry® StormTM.
In addition to this new lowest entry-level BlackBerrry service plan, SingTel has introduced BlackBerry Flexi in April 2009. This is the first integrated BlackBerry plan in Singapore with bundled data, talktime and SMS. At S$48.00 a month, it includes bundled talktime of 100 local outgoing minutes, 500 local SMS and 3.5GB of data.
