Thailand has just announced that it is giving away a few trips to five couples that are willing to blog, chat, and tweet about the country’s most popular cities and beaches.  What’s the mission here?  It’s quite obvious Thailand is trying to attract more tourists and out of country citizens to come visit and go on vacation in their country.  Social media is the new and best way to advertise things like that.

The Tourism Authority of Thailand launched a campaign Tuesday that will culminate in a winning couple being rewarded a grand prize of $10,000 US, a BlackBerry and a video camera.
