It’s nice to be able to handle your phone in any way you want without having to worry about it dropping in fear that scratches and even further tragic damage will occur. Here we reviewed the BlackBerry Bold 9000 Defender Series OtterBox, showing you all its ins and outs. In the video we demonstrate how the Defender Series is properly put on through its 3 layers that it comes with. As all the other Defender Series OtterBox cases have a 3 layer casing, the BlackBerry Bold 9000 one does too. The first layer is a thermal formed clear membrane that protects your screen, keyboard, buttons, and wraps all the way around to back protecting your leather battery cover as well. There’s no adhesive substance on it either so don’t worry about annoying stickiness or taking it on and off your BlackBerry. It’ll create a stable connection to your Bold after usage so don’t mind it for the first couple days as you get used to it.

The second layer is a hi-impact polycarbonate shell that protects your phone as well (why else would it be there!?). It’ll protect it from shock mainly against drops.

Lastly, you have the silicon cover which also protects your device from shock as well as being the final seal, making your BlackBerry look very stylish. It’s designed in a way where parts of the hard shell underneath show including the OtterBox logo on the back.
