Here’s the BlackBerry Storm 9530 leaked OS 5.0.0.230. We just got the word from the folks over at BlackBerryOS that it released via a MegaUpload link. If you do decide to take the risk to download and install, be sure to grab your copy as soon as possible because we all know how fast links get expired or break “terms of conditions” at times. Below is a full guide step by step how to install the leaked OS to your BlackBerry Storm, provided by BlackBerryOS

1. If you do not already, install 5.0.0.191 onto your computer. - AFTER INSTALL, REMOVE QUINCY/RIM TOOLS

2. Run the installer for the 5.0.0.230.

3. You will want to select the 5.0.0.191 folder as the destination folder to write to. This destination may be different for some but the majority will be located at :
c:\program files\common files\research in motion\shared\loader files\9530AMEA_v5.0.0.191_p4.2.0.43

4. Then hit next and it will ‘confirm’ your destination folder, then you hit next and the files will be copied into that folder.

5. Then run Apploader and you are done! I did notice that the “connecting to device” phase took a while.
