It was nice to see more than expected BlackBerry recognition at the Gizmodo Gallery yesterday.  The Microsoft barcode scanning was incredible to begin with as many folks found it oh so very handy.  From the various mobile phones that were displayed, the BlackBerry Tour had its beautiful showcase on one of the tables where Gizmodo fans were allowed to try the device hands on and ask questions about it as well.  The BlackBerry Tour 9630 is a Verizon Wireless device which also made its big debut side by side with Sprint.  Currently it has been rated the best smartphone for travel as it will work on any network in the world both GSM and CDMA.

We got a chance to ask people what they thought about the device as many BlackBerry users loved it of course and some iPhone owners were highly offended but accepting of the device when asked.  Being the only BlackBerry at the gallery, it was the best one to have out of all the devices out there.
