Gizmodo Gallery uses Microsoft Tags to get additional info on Display Items via BlackBerry
by The PocketBerry TeamThe PocketBerry team took a trip to New York City yesterday to check out the Gizmodo Gallery and see what all the neat advanced technology gadgets were like first hand as well as complimentary free pancakes with the incredible automated pancake machine they had displayed. The interesting thing we saw was the fact that all their display items showed had Microsoft tag barcodes next to them so you can get more info on it right on your BlackBerry (or other compatible device). As the image appears blurry, click it to enlarge to read it clearly. Simply download the Microsoft Barcode Scanner and then when you scan the barcode, your browser will open up to a page displaying information on what you’re looking at live. Pretty cool right?
