Before you all get excited, this isn’t a full blown BlackBerry laptop with a processor and all sorts of goodies.  Its basic purpose is to emulate your exact BlackBerry screen on this “laptop” which consists basically of a screen and keyboard with no actual internal hardware.  The motion and navigation of the device is supposedly live and up to date as far as motion and activity goes.  So what about the BlackBerry to REDFLY laptop connections?  You can sync your BlackBerry with the REDFLY device either through USB or Bluetooth.  In the back of the device, you’ll see that there are two USB devices which we are uncertain why two of them are necessary.  Perhaps we will see a combination of two BlackBerry devices being hooked up  that get switched in between in an “AB switch styled” environment.  Now back to the sleek design, don’t expect a full size keyboard like some of the netbooks such as HP offer.  Think of this more like the Acer and ASUS line where the keys are legitimately smaller than a full sized keyboard.  It is a matter of time getting used to but keep in mind this is not a full blow out PC!  A full QWERTY keyboard is assigned along with a touch pad and mouse pad.

The 7 inch version goes for only $199.99 which many of you will agree is too much to pay for a device which simply consists of a screen and keyboard with no internal elements.  Netbooks these days are starting at $199.99 with actual hardware inside as far as processors, memory, hard drive, and so forth.  Would you buy the REDFLY laptop.
