For all the fans of Zelda (who currently own a BlackBerry Curve) here’s a great theme you need to equip. It’s old school based on the original Zelda game for the genuine Nintendo Entertainment System. As you can see all the background images are still the same 8-bit graphics you remember from the game and the indicator bars’ design have been influenced by it as well. This theme is only for the BlackBerry Curve 83xx series including 8300, 8310, 8320, & 8330. The OTA link is available below the screenshots. Enjoy.

We came across this video on The Cool Guy Report which only gave a MegaUpload download link to a typing tutorial video for hte BlackBerry Storm 2 9550 aka codename Odin and a little bit of the BlackBerry Bold 9700 at the end. It looks like this video was cut off as there should of been more on the Bold 9700. This video itself rocks and will definitely make you want a Storm. After seeing this video, you’ll see that the 9550 Storm 2 almost has a mind of its own and will indeed assist you in typing. Just in case you didn’t feel like downloading it, we put up an embedded video for you!
The video does show “author” Twitter account @salomondrin so make sure you check him out especially if you have any questions or concerns.

It’s been awhile since we heard any up to date news on Slacker Radio. Recently, Slacker got their software to come stock on Verizon’s BlackBerry Storm 9530 right out of the box which was a huge achievement and success due to Verizon’s V Cast services. After that, there really hasn’t been much news as to what the company is up to as far as its BlackBerry services go.
So what are the possibilities? We know that RIM is in the process right now of turning its once-corporate BlackBerry into an all around device for both business and personal use adding lots of multimedia functions. Around the corner is the famous U2 Mobile Album for BlackBerry which is expected to release very soon (rumored to be Sept.12). With that being its first phase, and Slacker Radio becoming stock on some BlackBerry devices, is there room for any more media integration between the two companies making Slacker an embedded feature rather than a third party software?

For those unaware, the Boondocks is the American animated series created by Aaron McGruder for the Adult Swim programming block of Turner Broadcasting’s Cartoon Network, based upon McGruder’s comic strip of the same name. The Boondocks is a social satire of American culture and race relations (or stereotypes in the world), revolving around the lives of the Freeman family – ten-year-old Huey, his younger brother, eight-year-old Riley, and their grandfather, Robert. The series is produced by Rebel Base in association with Sony Pictures Television and has finished airing its second season on Adult Swim. Season three is currently in production, but all artist work that had occurred at the show’s studio, Adelaide Productions in Culver City, has been moved to Korea. The Boondocks takes place in the same place and time frame as its comic counterpart. The Freeman family, having recently moved from the South Side of Chicago to the peaceful, fictional suburb of Woodcrest, Illinois (compare Crestwood) find different ways to cope with this acute change in setting as well as the drastically different suburban cultures and lifestyles to which they are exposed. The perspective offered by this mixture of cultures, lifestyles, and races provides for much of the comedy in this series.
