Not so much BlackBerry yet, but I wouldn’t be surprised to see the game being supported on BlackBerry and iPhone platforms soon. Right now you can check it out on your PC or Mac, but it seems like it is temporarily off now. I haven’t gotten a chance to try it out yet or anything, but felt the need to put it out there for all you readers (and tweeters) to enjoy and hopefully give us some feedback as to how the game goes for you. Check out the official site here to get into the game! Also, feel free to check out the Monopoly City Streets Official Blog to stay updated with what’s going on.

The Grey Goose theme for the BlackBerry Bold 9000 is very sleek with these great icons and dark background images with vodka! You get a total of 8 customizable icons on the home screen (4 and 4 on top of each other) with the time still centered up top and the date on the far upper left. The battery bar as well as the service bar has been moved to the far left under the date while your WiFi and 3G/2G indicator are exactly parallel to it on the other side. Special thanks to Jennifer over at Cool BlackBerry Themes for providing this theme. The OTA link is available below the screenshots.

There’s been lots of confusion all morning as many popular blogs posted the potential of the official BlackBerry Desktop Manager for Mac releasing today. The confusions all occurred from a Twitter post from @BlackBerry stating that the software might be releasing today, but was very unclearly written. About one hour ago, as seen above, @BlackBerry’s Twitter said “Apologies for the confusion everyone. BlackBerry Desktop Software for Mac is NOT yet launched. Stay tuned for more info soon!” With that said, we can all rest assure that it is not releasing and everybody can stop wasting their time refreshing the BlackBerry website for a download link to appear.

Fantasy football anyone? You sit endless amounts of hours every day on a actual desktop PC or laptop managing your football team. Those days are long gone thanks to Yahoo’s latest creation. For the Bold 9000, Curve 8900, and Tour 9630 so far unfortunately. Do you own one? So download Yahoo Fantasy Football Manager. So what’s included? Here’s the “general specifics” as I like to call them:
- Live Scoring: Free this year! Follow your team as the games happen – in real time.
- Roster Management: Quarterback injured? No problem. Bench him and start your backup right from your phone.
- Add and drop players: No longer happy with your running back? Simple. Drop him from your team and search for a new one.
- Matchups: Not sure who you play next week? No need to stop what you’re doing, just grab your BlackBerry and check.

Today we went ahead and got our hands on the beta version of ZoomSafer for the BlackBerry Bold 9000 and wow, we are very impressed by it. Not familiar with ZoomSafer? ZoomSafer is software and services for mobile phones to prevent distracted driving. It’s simple to download and easy to install. ZoomSafer uses GPS in combination with client software installed on your phone to determine when you’re moving faster than 10 mph. When driving, we activate our safe driving services to minimize distractions and keep you focused on the road. So back to the app, it works as though it has a mind of its own. When ZoomSafer detects that you are moving faster than 10 miles per hour, a Safety Announcement plays and serves as a personal reminder to drive safe and less distracted. Similar to the ding-ding-ding to remind you to put on your seat belt, when ZoomSafer launches you’ll be able to create your own Safety Announcements, have friends or loved ones record them, or choose from fun celebrity quotes or annoucements.

The way the theme displays the application name’s on the home screen is very clever as it shows up in the cracked glass portion on the right as you can see. It’s not a complicated themes with lots of effects but it still is trendy and beats your stock Zen theme any day of the week! Special thanks to 3nifer for providing this theme. Click the link below to download it over the air (OTA).

It’s not your average online auction bidding application as this here applies to actual auction houses (one of the finest says BBD). In the app you can search auction catalogs, place absentee bids, access archived auction data, and get the opportunity to read the latest art, antique, and auction news anywhere you are via BlackBerry. The application is absolutely free to download for everyone. We got an OTA link below in which you can download over the air or scan the barcode displayed and download that way. The choice is yours.

We got some confirmed specs over from the folks at BlackBerryOS below which were really interesting including a crazy fast processor, camera, and incredible downloading speeds like we could never imagine.
