According to this leaked rumor, folks have heard that the BlackBerry Storm 2 will be releasing on October 14th this year. We’ve seen all the images, all the videos, and have decided that it will be a solid device, improving all its glitches it had in its previous 9500 & 9530 model. But let’s not jump to any conclusions until we all actually get our hands on it and use it as a BlackBerry with all its functions including applications, push email, and most importantly the TruePress technology implemented. Keep in mind folks, the release date is supposedly confirmed from Verizon, but to our knowledge this is a leaked rumor. Stay tuned for more info.

Just as many folks took advantage of it with Sprint, T-Mobile customers can now do the same. As of September 1st, T-Mobile has changed their terms of contract. For all single line plans under $59.99 and pooling plans under $89.99, overage rates increase to $.45. Every other single and pooling plans increase to $.40. The rate increase amounts to what is known as a “materially adverse change of contract,” which by law voids the original agreement, making it so customers can leave their cellphone contract without the usual early termination penalty.

With no feedback whatsoever for this user and a CrackBerry watermarked stamp on the picture, we don’t know how reliable this seller can be, but the fact of the matter is that the price being asked is an insane $800! This one is particularly the second generation Bold/Onyx 9700 as pictured with the trackpad rather than the trackball we saw in earlier generation of the Onyx. Click here to check out the auction and please be cautious if you do decide to bid on the BlackBerry.

I’m pretty sure that I’m not the only one not too fond of all these BlackBerry code names (and final released ones for that matter). In this screenshot above from CrackBerry, it appears to be a Tour looking device with the all new trackpad, titled “BlackBerry essex.” This could be the next generation Tour promised next year with WiFi perhaps. It is confirmed to have the WiFi built in along with a lot of other goodies including the trackpad, being a global phone (CDMA/GSMGPRS/EDGE/UMTS) , 3.2MP camera, and a sexy screen resolution of 480×360. Stay tuned for more details.

Everything is pretty much cleaned up as you can see with the indicators all up top and on the very bottom right corner. This theme is only for BlackBerry Bold 9000. BlackBerry as we all know it was and still is a primary device of business in which many corporate employees are equipped with one (or two). A study conducted said that on average they spend an extra 15 hours per week to finish all their work up via cellphone. Imagine how much more productive our President Obama is! The survey conducted (which was to 600 workers) said that the BlackBerry enables many employees to become hard workers. The main reason is because they are capable of easily sending and receiving email messages in and out of the office where ever they may be. Some frown at the idea but in some (and many cases these days) it becomes very much essential when expecting important data or email.

Besides having a brand new interface once again, Facebook 1.7 for BlackBerry is coming with some nice features. First off, now you will have the ability to set filters for information such as status updates or pictures but the tab pictured above. Supposedly the speed in page load time has been increased but I’ll have to wait to see it before I believe it. There’s a new option in the context menu above titled “View Profile” which is sad that it is being added now as it seems like such an obvious stock option. Lastly was a strange feature of “possibility of setting of the news as the target customer for the FB-BB.” If anyone figures out that last part, let us know!
