Here’s an interesting concept that we don’t quite often see with other competitors such as Apple.  Research in Motion is currently offering a BlackBerry Webinar Workshop welcoming everyone to attend.  This was sent to T-Mobile employees and managers as they were told to feel free to invite BlackBerry customers to this Webinar.  There will be two sessions going on, one from 8am-11am, and the other from 11am to 2pm.  The first session will include consumer applications and personal email content while the second session will not.  There is not much noted on the second session, but it is quite obvious that it will be drawn more towards BES admins and users.  This is a great introductory session you should attend, especially if you are just starting the whole BlackBerry vibe.  As for BES users and admins, it’s very useful to attend webinars and events like these as there are always tips and tricks to be handed out.

The fonts used here are very unique as they are a mixture of lower and uppercase letters.  You get 7 customizable icons on the home screen also.  The indicators are pretty much all in the same place they would be but have been tweaked a bit to give theme a little twist.  Special thanks to Cool BlackBerry Themes for providing this theme.  It is only for the BlackBerry Curve 8900.

AT&T BlackBerry Bold OS 5.0

Downloading OS 5.0 gets really exciting, knowing that you’ll have a whole new BlackBerry interface with lots of new goodies and improvements.  It’s a really big shame to have to downgrade after finding out MediaNet and HotSpot Browser are the only two browsers you can use.  So what’s that mean?  You’re going to downgrade again back to OS 4.6 all over again.  Downgrading a BlackBerry OS is one of the most depressing actions you’ll ever face, so let’s make sure that doesn’t happen.  The main issue here was when OS 5.0 is installed on the AT&T BlackBerry, the Browser and MediaNet icons are visible, but they both take you to MediaNet which can get very annoying.  If you thought you had to downgrade your BlackBerry OS after seeing that, then we have great news for you.  We’ve got great steps you can follow to get your Browser up and running.

bold9700-1

One of the members over at BBOS posted some interesting images this morning of the all new BlackBerry Bold 9700 which he had received from a friend currently rockin’ the device.  In these images you’ll see up close images of the device and realize something rather interesting.  It has an AT&T stock background which may or may not mean something.  Either the person using it changed their background image to a stock AT&T one or that indeed is the stock background.  The Bold 9700 hype has been going out to T-Mobile and their release of the device lately, maybe we’ll see more AT&T leaks here and there. To check out all the other images, head over to the BBOS post here.

Most of you will go right ahead and download this theme with no questions asked.  I did too.  Special thanks to Mio_BB for providing this great theme.  Precision7 HTW takes your stock theme to a whole new level.  The bottom dock gives you 7 customizable icons along with the Today feature to view calendar updates and messages as they come along.  Overall, the theme is very sleek and simple without all the nonsense hi def images that lag your BlackBerry.  As it may look like a premium theme, it is absolutely free to download. Click the link below to download over the air (OTA from your BlackBerry Browser.  This theme is only for the BlackBerry Bold 9000.
