In the review featured by BGR, we found out that the all new BlackBerry Bold 9700 will be rockin’ the same battery as the older generation BlackBerry Bold 9000.  As far as battery life, it is supposedly a longer lasting battery life than in the 9000 which is a very interesting aspect of the device.  It looks like the 9700 will be using less resources to keep things working internally, making it quite the hybrid edition BlackBerry.  Some say that the battery only looks the same but provides different volts but we are native to those facts til now.  There’s different ways to look at it now, but so far the books say that they are exactly the same.

Color ID lets you know instantly who or where an email, text message, ore even incoming call is from just from the colors on the BlackBerry indicator light.  This is almost like setting different ringtones for different friends to an extent.  Instead of it being individual tones, it is a different light show for each and every person.

resartme-blackberry

Pulling your battery out can become quite a routine if you own a BlackBerry.  The most annoying part is if you have a heavy duty case such as an OtterBox, then you have to go through a whole process to slap your battery out then back in again.  RestartMe skips all the annoyance in a typical battery pull and lets you restart your BlackBerry with the press of a button.  This application is absolutely free for download.  The OTA link can be found below.  Enjoy.

So far this has been the best OtterBox for BlackBerry to ever release.  We’re all familiar with the Defender Series which is the biggest OtterBox housing you can get with maximum protection.  Then later on came the Impact Series which consisted of a heavy duty silicon case with a screen cover.  How about something right in the middle?  OtterBox has just recently released the Commuter Series which is right down the middle between the Impact and Defender.  It holds all characteristics of the Defender Series, but is very much slim like the Impact.  As you can see, there is the rubberized silicon case on the outside.  Next you have the hard shell case which puts the best protection for your BlackBerry.  And lastly, you’ll have your thermal sheet going all over the BlackBerry itself. The BlackBerry Pearl hasn’t been getting much attention lately, but it is must be acknowledged that the device was the first multimedia enabled BlackBerry which opened doors to many new features for you.  Here’s a great theme based on the hit Nintendo game Super Mario Bros.  The theme is absolutely free to download with an OTA link below.  Special thanks to luckygal for providing this great theme.  Enjoy.

One of our favorite leaks is the BlackBerry Storm 2 videos only because it seems that this device has corrected and perfected every defect and missing link in the older generation Storm.  In this video, you’ll see a demonstration on screen tapping with the BlackBerry Storm 2 from salomondrin himself.

blackberry-9700-14

We’re getting really close to seeing the BlackBerry Bold 9700 go to store shelves in the US.  The hype is really big as many issues former Bold 9000 users were facing have been corrected here along with a lot of extra goodies.  By the way the article is put, the writer says that the Bold 9700 is the “most gorgeous BlackBerry.”  So far we can all agree on that and we’re all very anxious to get our hands on it ourselves.  As you can see in the picture above, the size has been changed to a smaller one for the better of course as many were not too fond of the 88xx series sized Bold 9700.  To read the full review, click here.

Mini Golf 99 Holes: Theme Park

One of the nicest golf games I’ve seen on the BlackBerry platform is definitely this one.  By default, we’re used to the same aerial view where you see the golf ball just slide across the screen.  Games like that get boring after awhile and calls for nothing but temporary play and a guaranteed deletion after a few rounds.  Mini Golf 99 Holes Theme Park gives you the best golfing experience you can get on your BlackBerry.

Play through 99 tracks and unlock secret powers in a theme park full of fun and surprises.  Challenge yourself on the 4 courses of the Mini-Golf Masters – testing your power, speed, skill and smarts. Unlock their secret powers to send the ball past track obstacles like bumpers, spring jumps and teleporters. Get more holes, more objects and more fun with the most addictive Mini Golf game for mobile!  For only $6.99, you can download and own this game on your BlackBerry from Bplay.
