If you folks can recall back to the BlackBerry (codename) Magnum from a few months back, you can rest assured that it is now known as the BlackBerry Dakota. So after seeing the BlackBerry Bold 9700 and its significantly smaller size than the original 9000, you thought RIM was done with larger devices.  Wrong.  The BlackBerry Dakota details are floating around in town and it looks like it will be the roughly the same size as the original BlackBerry Bold 9000.  As for all you AT&T and T-Mobile customers, be happy to know that the device will be completely GSM.  Who remembers the badly photoshopped images of the BlackBerry 9900?  Well that device was allegedly a touchscreen device along with a QWERTY keyboard but mussing a trackball/trackpad.  The BlackBerry Dakota is proud to be rockin’ the touch screen, QWERTY keyboard, and trackpad all at the same time.  So what else is so cool about this device?  Salomondrin mentions that it will rock an awesome liquid lens.

So now you’re all baffled as to what a liquid lens is exactly.  The liquid lens is a new fluid lens camera technology that basically has no moving parts whatsoever inside.  From what they say, it supposedly acts like a human eye as far as focusing and looking at objects.  There is no official image of the device but all we have is this leaked photo from months ago above where the BlackBerry Onyx, Magnum, and Driftwood were all privately announced.
