Micro-USB input bothering many when using BlackBerry while charging

It seems to be a huge complaint for many BlackBerry users.  Ever since the introduction of the micro-USB adapter that has recently started to be equipped on new BlackBerry devices, it seems that their placements are of very inconvenience.  Once upon a time, the mini-USB adapter was placed in the same region on every BlackBerry device which was on the left side, pretty much up top, and out of your way when Berryin’ around.  So what’s it like now?  We first saw the tragedy in the BlackBerry Storm 9500 & 9530 where the charger was put on its left side still but brought lower underneath the left convenience key.  So what did RIM do next?

Out came the BlackBerry Curve 8900 which put its charger input on the exact opposite side of where the Storm’s input was.  If you are an owner of a BlackBerry Storm or Curve 8900, we’d love to hear about the tragedies and dilemmas you face when trying to type away while charging.
