Many of us are huge Internet Explorer haters, and it really brings us down to have to resort to the poorly made web browser when certain stuff doesn’t work on Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox.  BlackBerry Web Update started well over a year and half ago which enabled folks to update their BlackBerry operating systems through Internet Explorer, rather than BlackBerry Desktop Manager.  Just in from this morning, RIM has decided to enable this awesome feature for Mozilla Firefox, which I guarantee will encourage and give the green light for many folks to use this feature.

So go ahead and enjoy using Firefox to update your BlackBerry.  Head over to http://na.blackberry.com/eng/update/ on your browser and check for new updates.
