Sou you think your a person of high status if you wear cellular phones on your belt.  That is the strangest and wrongest thought on the matter.  In fact, there are many cases where belt clips get frowned upon as it could come up as arrogance or maybe just exemplifies that you are showing off a device on your belt.   I was reading an article earlier on Gizmodo called “In Addition to Making You Look Like a Douche, Cellphone Holsters May Also Reduce Bone Density.”  Of course BlackBerry is very famous for being rocked on the belt with its in holster and out of holster profile settings.  This had to be addressed to you ASAP.  The article briefly touches up on the fact that cell phones can reduce your bone density based on Journal of Craniofacial Surgery.  They suggest that “electromagnetic fields emitted by cell phones may have a harmful effect on bone density.”  So do yourself a favor and be civilized with your cell phone in your pocket, rather than on your waste, dangling like it’s “ice.”

As much as I hate wearing my phone on my belt (always have – it seems to always want to hit something like a counter top) there seems to be something about that magical magnetic holster that goes with my BB9000. I have noticed that the battery lasts longer during the day while it's in the holster as opposed to it being in my pocket.

I had a BB I carried in my pocket one time. BB's are just to big to carry in your pocket. They must be displayed proudly on your belt!
