Just to get a better glance at the device, you can enjoy going through the professionally created user guide for the BlackBerry Storm 2.  This isn’t your average BlackBerry user guide from RIM as it is not in the PDF format you expected it to be.  When opening the online guide, it’ll ask you if you are on a Mac or PC so that it formats better for your platform.  You’ll have to try it for yourselves to get what I’m trying to say to be honest but you won’t be disappointed.  So back to the actual guide, it is split up into four sections: The Basics, Settings and Tools, Using your Device, and Advanced Services.  To go right to the official BlackBerry Storm User Guide, click here.

A little over a week ago, we saw Best Buy packing BlackBerry Storm 2 accessories which consisted of various colored silicon covers.  It looks like it was a green light from the carriers to put out BlackBerry Storm 2 dummy devices, or maybe they just messed up with the early start.  So how’s RIM pushing the device to its potential customers?  The big idea being put here is that the Storm 2 is “worth the wait” as it is displayed in the picture.  As for a release date?  It remains coming soon, which we aren’t surprised to see.

Given that the original BlackBerry Storm 9500 & 9530 was a miserable disaster for many, the Storm 2 will of course have a hard time making it up top, especially when it carries the same name.  So what were the huge issues faced in the original Storm?  Just as a quick recap, we can all remember the excessive freezes with the device which always lead to a hard battery pull and caused people many dilemmas such as not receiving phone calls because the Storm was “hourglassing” in their holsters or pockets without usage even.  We came across a list of five ways that the BlackBerry Storm 2 is better from PCWorld which could come very useful to all of you, especially if you’re feeling shaky about the new device.

Everyone was hyped to see the first BlackBerry Storm 2 ad which was supposed to air last night during the Major League Baseball game.  Looks like we got nothing but a BlackBerry logo in the background.  Will we be seeing ads before the launch or what?  BBLeaks suggests maybe the Storm 2 is going to have quite a silent launch.

We had some leaked images of the BlackBerry watch yesterday which were allegedly official (according to CB).  The “SmartWatch” as it is known as for now seems to be coming to several devices out there.  That brings up a lot of questions for the BlackBerry compatibility.  When using the watch, will we be seeing BlackBerry Messenger, Email, and SMS all separated or will this watch just be generic to all smartphones where there is just an sms and email inbox strictly.  Many are thinking that the watch will be specifically catered to the BlackBerry but we’re unaware and confused about the item until someone gets some more screenshots and shows a hands on video perhaps.
