Many of you might of just assumed that the BlackBerry Storm2 would come to both Vodafone and Verizon at the same time beautifully. As nice as that would be, it looks like Vodafone will be exclusively released for a few weeks before the device actually reaches out to Verizon or any other carrier for that matter. So October 26th is the big day of the release for the BlackBerry Storm2 via Vodafone which goes hand in hand with Verizon’s Storm 2 release rumors as well. Vodafone will be offering the device free for anyone who is willing to sign up for a two-year contract.

Luckily, the theme makers are guaranteeing that this theme is light on the device and will not lag your BlackBerry at all as the theme also takes very little space. In the spirit for Halloween? For starters, you need to get your BlackBerry equipped with a Halloween theme, but not just any. The HDD Halloween theme by Hedone Designs is quite unique. It isn’t your average theme where wallpapers and icons get changed alone. This theme as a whole provides a new experience on your BlackBerry that you never had before. If you continue reading, you’ll see the unique way the icons are placed including the battery and signal meter. It isn’t your average style you’re used to as we warned you before.

It’s been an exciting morning with all the BlackBerry Storm2 news releasing, especially that RIM has officially announced it on their site. Such events call for the device to officially launch from the carriers as we have already suspected that before RIM did their introduction to the BlackBerry Storm2. So here we have a diagram as to all the whereabouts of buttons and shortcut keys are located. An interesting new concept we saw here was that the Power button has been shifted up to the Lock button which can cause some confusion at first but shouldn’t be any real big issue.. By looking at it, we can assume that a soft, one click press of the button will lock the device and a longer extended press will shut the device off. The Mute button is opposite to it staying up top as well, being the most convenient tool when on the phone.

The BlackBerry Bold 9700 seems to be getting maximum exposure by T-Mobile as they were first to get a stock image of the device out in the open with the carrier stamped on it and everything. So any significance here? There’s not much to say other than the fact that this little ad on T-Mobile’s site indicates that the device will be coming out in November. That should clear out a lot of confusions as to when the BlackBerry Bold 9700 is due.

Vodafone UK went ahead and opened the gates for pre orders over on their website. If you’re interested in purchasing a Storm2 and don’t feel like waiting in lines or camping out infront of your local Vodafone retail stores (depending on the hype), then pre ordering your Storm2 would be the smartest decision.

Our favorite parts of BlackBerry releases is when RIM launches stock videos showing off the device that makes it very appealing for you to buy. This video allows you to see all the angles of the Storm2, which in my opinion look a lot sexier than the original Storm 9500/9530.
