The BlackBerry Storm 2 had a short lived fame on BlackBerry.com.  Instead, the all new BlackBerry Bold 9700 which was announced earlier this morning made its big hit on the front page.  The image above is seen as RIm is pushing out “love” to everyone with a BlackBerry and now it’s “Love to be Bold.”  From what it looks like, this is all part of RIM’s new image it’s giving itself.  Seeing the new quotes and color designs on RIM’s website is becoming more and more welcoming, exemplifying how the BlackBerry is indeed for everyone, and not just the old man in a suit.

Vodafone has went ahead and opened the gates up for pre-orders of the BlackBerry Bold 9700.  What’s really interesting is that the device is being offered for free as well on pay monthly plans from £35 and up.  So far today we’ve had official BlackBerry Bold 9700 announcements from RIM, T-Mobile, Bell, and Vodafone.  Perhaps we’ll see a huge spread across world carriers for this device as we did for the BlackBerry Curve 8520.

As the BlackBerry Bold 9700 has been announced, we felt it was priority to provide the specs and features available in the device from RIM.  As you can see in the image, there is a lot taken from the previous BlackBerry Bold 9000 including the keyboard (which is also in the Tour 96xx), the rounded bottom, and of course the name “Bold.”  This of course is rockin’ the new trackpad as RIM has basically had its funeral for the trackwheel and trackball by now.  Continue reading to get the full specs sheet on the BlackBerry Bold 9700.

This is a huge jump for the OS 5.0 leaks as the previous Storm OS was at .238 and this one has made its way to .323.  This is of course a leaked OS and is NOT official.  Install at your own risk.  There is no change log for this one, but we will be hooking it up on our Storm on our end very soon and will be reporting back to you shortly as to how it flies.  If you all decide to install it right away, let us know what you see, don’t see, like, and dislike about it!

The BlackBerry Bold 9700 has officially been announced today by RIM, and even T-Mobile is pushing it out on their site as well as t-mobile9700.com.  You can see all the features of the device on the site as well teasing you some more, making you anxious to get the device.  T-Mobile will be offering this Bold 9700, being their first 3G BlackBerry.  So what will be so great about it?  It’s going to have voice calling over WiFi as well which is a big factor and competition facing AT&T which blocks such services.  Continue reading to read the full press release.

Last week, we put out a BlackBerry Storm 9530 unlocked giveaway, and we promised to put out our testing BlackBerry Curve 8320, but had a mis-hap with it so now we are giving out the BlackBerry Bold 9000 unlocked instead.  It is an AT&T branded Bold that a few small scratches on it, but no big deal.  All the original accessories come with it including the headphones this time!
